Showcasing traditional craftsmanship and the culture of the baguette—which were added to UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list on November 30, 2022—through daily demonstrations at the Île-de-France booth

Every day, visit our bakery counter to meet one of our technical advisors—members of the Confrérie des Boulangers Grands Moulins de Paris—who work alongside other experts to bake baguettes using local flours.

Grands Moulins de Paris’s strength lies in its people. We are truly fortunate to have 60 expert bakery technicians who come together as peers within the GMP Bakers’ Guild. Together, they contribute to early-stage planning for our current and future products, approve innovation projects, and help create signature GMP recipes.

Raise public awareness through the Francine brand about the Food Bank’s efforts to address food insecurity

On Tuesday, February 28, the Francine brand will host a crêpe-making event at the Food Bank’s booth. This is an opportunity to highlight our iconic brand’s commitment to social responsibility. In particular, last year we signed a three-year partnership with the Food Bank and the VIVESCIA cooperative group, to which we belong, to cover the annual Francine flour needs of food-insecure populations in the territories of the VIVESCIA Cooperative, including the departments of Marne, Aube, Ardennes, Meuse, and Haute-Marne.

Promoting collaboration across the supply chain to develop sustainable flours at the Intercéréales booth

We are proud to work hand in hand with French farmers to develop responsible wheat supply chains alongside them. In our ongoing commitment to maintaining close ties with local communities and fostering a sustainable, community-based approach, Grands Moulins de Paris sources wheat directly from producers throughout France to bring out the best of each region’s terroir and develop sustainable supply chains with them. This is the work of dedicated men and women, whosefaces you’ll findin the portrait gallery at the Intercéréales booth, including two Grands Moulins de Paris employees.

The CRC® program will also host two educational demonstrations in the stand’s bakery on the mornings of Monday, February 27, and Wednesday, March1. The baguettes will be made using our “Platine” flour, which is certified by both CRC® and Label Rouge.
