From December 2 to 4, the three grain ingredient experts presented their latest grain-based solutions at the Food Ingredients Europe 2025 trade show (Hall 7.3, Booth H31). As part of VIVESCIA, a leading French grain cooperative group, they are true experts in the wheat, barley, and corn sectors.

Building on the success of the 2024 edition of Food Ingredients Europe (FIE) in Frankfurt, Kalizea, Grands Moulins de Paris with its ID Ingredients brand, and Diamalteria Italiana are returning to FIE in Paris this year to showcase their technical and sensory innovations.

• ID Ingredients specializes in the formulation, production, and blending of ingredients for the bakery, pastry, and culinary sectors, drawing on the expertise of Grands Moulins de Paris, France’s leading miller,

Kalizea, a leader in the European corn processing market for over 50 years, specializes in corn-based ingredients and offers customized solutions for a variety of food applications (snacks, breakfast cereals, coatings, etc.).

Diamalteria Italiana, a specialist in malt extract since 1909, supplies high-quality ingredients to drive innovation in the food and beverage industry.

New cookie mix - Cereal Fusion

Cookie Mix – Cereal Fusion was developed specifically for the Food Ingredients Europe 2025 trade show. It is a cookie mix that includes two recipes—popcorn flavor and cocoa-malt flavor—offering a completely new taste experience.

A unique creation by the three sister companies Kalizea, ID Ingredients—a brand of Grands Moulins de Paris—and Diamalteria Italiana, combining technical expertise and sensory innovation through cereal-based ingredients sourced from three different cereal supply chains:

100% French wheat flour from Grands Moulins de Paris, showcasing the company’s century-old milling expertise,

Kalizea’s toasted corn germ flour, made from roasted corn germ, adds delicious notes of hazelnut, popcorn, and toasted grains to your recipes and offers a unique flavor profile,

Diachoco Dark Spray malt extract from Diamalteria Italiana, specially formulated to work in synergy with cocoa, delivering an unexplored flavor profile: toasted malt, roasted notes, and smoky undertones.

The product is formulated, manufactured, and packaged by ID Ingredients at the Grands Moulins de Paris packaging facility in Briare (Loiret, France).

In partnership with these teams, our marketing department also organizes innovation workshops that address market trends and consumer demands, shaping both our decisions and those of our clients.

    • BLENDS: Thanks to our Innovation and Product Development team, we design custom formulations tailored to your processes and requirements, delivering specific textures, colors, and flavors that set your products apart and ensuring perfect stability, freeze resistance, and volume performance in your finished products.

    • GRAIN-BASED INGREDIENTS: ID Ingredients offers a wide range of functional and nutritional ingredients, including micronized wheat bran, stabilized wheat germ, and extruded bran pellets. In collaboration with Kalizea and Diamalteria Italiana, we also offer natural food products made from corn or malt, which provide unique visual characteristics, distinctive flavor profiles, and even natural colorants

    • FUNCTIONAL FLOURS for texture: flours with texturizing properties that are ideal for replacing starches and thickeners. This range includes heat-treated functional flours, also known as Gel Tex, which are used to enhance the texture of pastas and sauces, and to give products a moist, tender texture, etc.

    • SOURDOUGH STARTER for flavor and color: Grands Moulins de Paris has been producing deactivated and dehydrated sourdough starters for over 50 years, using a traditional baking method that does not involve fermentation tanks. This approach achieves a perfect balance between acidity, aromatic intensity, and toasted notes, giving our sourdough starters their unique character.

With its wide range of cornmeal, flour, grits, oils, and toasted corn germ, Kalizea harnesses the full potential of corn kernels for human and animal feed.

From Field to Plate
For over 50 years, Kalizea has been working closely with corn producers from the VIVESCIA cooperative in France, as well as directly with local farmers in Poland and Romania (for our Polish and Romanian plants, respectively) to select high-quality corn and process it to the highest standards.
