Check out the winners of the 2016 edition of the Young Bakery Entrepreneurs Competition!

Every year since 2003, theÉcole de Boulangerie et Grands Moulins de Paris has organized a competition to help bakers set up for the first time.

24 candidates were selected for the final of the competition and 5 are normally winners... 2016 is an exceptional year as 7 of them get an award!

The 2016 winners are: 

 

1st prize - Jacques and Sandie BRASSART - 37 and 36 years old (Ile-de-France - Nord) : 20 000 €.

2nd prize - Guillaume LEGRAND and Daphné BOUVATIER - 27 and 23 years old (North-West) : 10 000 €.

3rd prize - Fabien MAZETTE and Laura DUFOUR - 26 and 23 years old (South-East) : 10 000 €.

4th prize - Yohan NOEL and Sharlène VANDEVELDE - 25 and 22 years old (South-East) : 5 000 €.

5th prize (ex aequo) - Ulrich PARIS and Stéphanie REYNET - 28 and 30 years old (East) : 5 000 €.

5th prize (ex aequo) - Rémy GOUT and Elodie MAURY - 29 and 25 years old (South-West) : 5 000 €.

Special Prize - Victoria EFFANTIN and Cécile KHAYAT Cécile - 26 and 28 years old (Ile-de-France - Nord): 3 000 €
