Testimonial from Lucie Bouvier, Social Relations Officer at Grands Moulins de Paris.
What is an employee's first day like at Grands Moulins de Paris?
The new hire is welcomed by their manager and/or the HR team.
We provide them with an onboarding kit, which may vary depending on the location or position.
On the agenda: a bit of paperwork (as always on the first day!), followed by picking up equipment, meeting the teams, and touring the site.
What measures are in place to best support new employees as they start their new roles? What does the typical onboarding process look like?
All new employees participate in the Group’s “Welcome Vivescia” onboarding program, which provides a common foundation for all Group employees: the Group’s mindset, its culture, its values, the goals of its CSR policy, and its ethical standards.
Next, a customized onboarding program is developed based on the employee’s role: an introduction to the various roles, guidance on using our tools, product training, and more…
If health guidelines allow, each employee will also have the opportunity to spend “a day at school” at the EBP.
How many new hires does the company welcome each year?
We welcome between 170 and 180 new employees each year.
What would you say to people interested in joining GMP?
Don’t hesitate! Join us. We’d love to have you.
Joining Grands Moulins de Paris means becoming part of a century-old company that is firmly focused on the future and committed to continuously improving the quality of life at work for its employees, as demonstrated by the signing of a framework agreement on Quality of Life at Work (QLW).
Any advice you’d like to share with all future new employees for their first few days?
We’re a group of passionate people who love to share. Be curious and build connections!
