The wheat donation initiative led by VIVESCIA farmers and the teams at Coopérative & Grands Moulins de Paris was praised and highlighted during Elisabeth Borne’s visit.
This morning, Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, Jean-Christophe Combe, Minister for Solidarity, Autonomy, and People with Disabilities, andMarlène Schiappa, Secretary of State to the Prime Minister, responsible for the Social and Solidarity Economy and Community Life, were at the Marne Food Bank in Reims for a tour of the facilities and discussions with food bank associations and partners.
This provided an opportunity forChristoph Büren, President;Claire Madoré, Director of Marketing and E-Business and Head of Supermarket Sales at Grands Moulins de Paris; andPierre Saincry, Director of the Grands Moulins de Paris facility in Reims, to present the “Don de blé / Francine” initiative launched in collaboration with the entire VIVESCIA supply chain.
Last March, the VIVESCIA Group joined forces with food banks with the goal of meeting the annual Francine flour needs of food-insecure populations in the Cooperative’s service areas.
