Grands Moulins de Paris is joining forces with the League Against Cancer
As we do every year, Pink October is a key moment for raising awareness and demonstrating commitment. Thus, in 2025, we are renewing our partnership with the League Against Cancer to support research, promote early detection, and provide support to patients and their loved ones. This initiative is directly aligned with our CSR commitments Link by GMP.
Because prevention is an ongoing effort, we’re working with our bakery clients to promote a simple message: together, let’s make prevention a central part of our daily lives. 🎀
A commitment shared by our in-store bakery customers
In 2025, more than 1,000 partner artisan bakers are joining forces with Grands Moulins de Paris for Pink October.
In practice, these artisans spread the word in their shops using special promotional materials, including baguette bags featuring the Pink October colors.
In addition, for every communication kit purchased, €50 is donated to the Ligue contre le Cancer, amounting to nearly €52,000 raised to support cancer prevention, patient care, and research funding.
The kit includes:
- 1 poster,
- 1 counter display stand,
- 1 giant check,
- 3,000 baguette bags,
- 1 window decal,
- 1 garland of pink ribbons,
- 100 ribbon pins to give away,
- 3 pink aprons for the salespeople,
- 1 social media post.

An online fundraiser organized by artisan bakers
To take this initiative a step further and increase the amount donated to the League Against Cancer through the in-store campaign at our partner bakeries, we’ve set up a fundraising page to collect additional donations. So, whether you’re a customer, an employee, or simply a reader of this article, you too can contribute to the fundraiser!
“Kind Words for Life”
This year, the League Against Cancer is launching a campaign full of warmth and emotion to highlight the importance of communication and connection.
A word on a cup, a sentence on a sign, a quick note scribbled down… Every little gesture counts in breaking the silence and encouraging breast cancer screening.
Share some kind words: speak up to support your loved ones.
The campaign is featured on our internal platforms and can also be shared on social media.
And don’t forget that a simple checkup can make all the difference. See a doctor, midwife, or gynecologist regularly, and starting at age 50, get screened every two years.
