Grands Moulins de Paris supports the League against Cancer
Like every year, Pink October is a time for awareness and commitment. So, in 2025, we are renewing our partnership with the Ligue contre le cancer to support research, promote early detection and support sufferers and their families. This initiative is directly in line with our CSR commitments. Link by GMP.
Because prevention never stops, we're mobilizing with our bakery customers around a simple message: together, let's put prevention at the heart of our daily lives. 🎀
A commitment shared by our in-store bakery customers
In 2025, over 1,000 partner bakers are working alongside Grands Moulins de Paris for Pink October.
In concrete terms, in their stores, these craftsmen relay the awareness-raising message using dedicated communication media, and in particular baguette bags in the colors of Pink October.
What's more, every communication kit purchased donates €50 to the Ligue contre le Cancer, raising nearly €52,000 to support prevention, patient support and research funding.
Kit includes :
- 1 poster,
- 1 countertop easel,
- 1 giant cheque,
- 3,000 baguette bags,
- 1 window sticker,
- 1 pink ribbon garland,
- 100 ribbon pins for distribution,
- 3 pink aprons for sales staff,
- 1 social networking post.
[The kits will be available to our artisan baker customers in October 2024].
An online kitty supported by artisan bakers
To go even further, and in order to increase the amount donated to the Ligue contre le cancer as part of the in-store operation at our partner bakeries, we have set up a fund to collect additional donations. So, not only store customers and staff, but also readers of this article, you too can take part in the fund-raising campaign!
At our sites: solidarity initiatives with our employees
Because talking about it is already taking action, all Grands Moulins de Paris employees were invited to follow an online conference hosted by La Ligue contre le cancer to provide essential information on prevention, answer questions and remind them of the good habits to adopt on a daily basis.
A solidarity sale of Délifrance pastries will also be held at the Ivry headquarters. All proceeds will be donated to the Ligue contre le Cancer, helping to fund research and support patients.
"Sweet words for life
This year, the Ligue contre le cancer unveils a campaign full of tenderness and emotion, reminding us of the importance of talking and connecting.
A word on a cup, a phrase on a billboard, a little scribbled message... Every attention counts to break the silence and encourage breast cancer screening.
Share kind words: dare to speak up to support your loved ones.
The campaign is visible on our internal media and can also be relayed on social networks.
And don't forget that a simple check-up can change everything. See a doctor, midwife or gynecologist regularly and, from the age of 50, get tested every 2 years.
