Anne and Hervé fell in love with the Campaillette concept. Having become ambassadors for the network, they opened a delightful artisanal bakery in Richardménil (54), in northeastern France.
La Maison Villa, a cozy bakery connected to the shop
Anne and Hervé discovered the Campaillette concept in 2016. As passionate artisan bakers, they immediately identified with the core values of this network: a friendly atmosphere, modernity, artisanal expertise, and customer satisfaction. The Campaillette concept also allowed them to bridge the gap between the bakery and the store by featuring a production area open to the shop and the bakery counter.
There’s no secret here—everything produced is taken directly to the store on a cart! This innovative setup was very important to them because it showcases the craftsmanship and passion of Hervé, Anne, and their employees. It also encourages interaction among staff and makes it easier for customers to come and go by providing separate entrances and exits.
The store layout also showcases the products: Villa Bakery offers a true culinary journey as customers make their way through the store. Every detail has been carefully designed to highlight the display cases and entice customers to sample the products.
To create a more welcoming atmosphere, Villa Artisan Bakery also features a café area inside the shop. Customers can sit down to enjoy pastries, drinks, or sandwiches and relax in a cozy setting. Anne often takes the time to chat with her customers over a cup of coffee and a sweet treat.

The Campaillette concept naturally appealed to Anne and Hervé because of the paramount importance placed on the quality of production. As experienced artisan bakers, they have always made it a point of honor to offer ultra-fresh products and original creations. Bread, pastries, cakes, and sandwiches: the bakery’s selection is modern, innovative, and made with carefully selected ingredients.
Throughout the day, the sign lights up orange to let customers know when fresh bread is coming out of the oven. Fans of warm, crispy baguettes are kept in the loop!
