Berrouga named “Baker’s Gem of 2021”!

The“Pépites de la Boulangerie”competition has been held annually since 2020 by Honoré Le Mag magazine inpartnership with the Cercle d’Etudes de Boulangerie-Pâtisserie (CEBP) to recognize creative food products, equipment, and packaging tailored to the world of baking and pastry.

Our newBerrouga all-purpose flour blendcompeted in the second edition of the “Pépites de la Boulangerie” competition and has just been named the winner!

The selection process for the winning products of the 2021 edition took place in two stages:

  A panel of five artisan and chain bakers tested the various products between May 5 and 19, 2021, and submitted their individual ratings.

  A jury composed of representatives from the aforementioned bakers’ association, partner distributors, the editorial staff of Honoré Le Mag, and the CEBP reviewed all the products in the competition on Thursday, May 20, 2021, and assigned an overall average score to each product.

The products with the highest average scores were named “Pépite de la Boulangerie 2021.” Four special awards were also presented by the jury and the editorial team at France Snacking.

In the spotlight at Sirha!

As a winner of the Pépites de la Boulangerie competition, our Berrouga blend will be showcased at the Honoré Le Mag – France Snacking booth during the upcoming Sirha trade show, which is also a partner of the Pépites de la Boulangerie competition, from September 23 to 27, 2021.

Grands Moulins de Paris will also have a booth there, and we look forward to seeing you there!
