On October 4 and 5, we attended the “Salon Produits Frais Festifs” organized by our client Cora France in Pontcarré (77).
A key event to showcase our holiday products to department managers
This trade show brought together 117 suppliers to Cora stores to showcase all their holiday products at once: meat, deli, prepared foods, cheese, seafood, fruits and vegetables, packaged goods, and, of course, baked goods.
The event is open to all department managers and bakers at Cora France who have been invited to meet with their suppliers. It will give us the opportunity to showcase festive versions of the signature products we produce for the brand, including a smaller-sized version of the Panettone.
4 signature blend recipes for Cora, reimagined for the holiday season
We produce three varieties of bread mix for the Cora brand.
• For the Signature Cora Seigle blend, we added candied fruit, which we shaped into small rolls using a mold.
• To create a convenient, tree-shaped treat to share, we used the Cora Campagne Signature blend, shaped into small, easily breakable balls to delight all our guests!
• And finally, we chose an irregular shape to showcase the Cora Spelt Signature blend, prepared using Cora sourdough.
We also produce a Brioche Cora mix for our client, which we have adapted to create smaller-sized (450g) panettone cakes with candied fruit—products that have been very popular in bakeries for several years now.
Did you know?
Panettone sales in large and medium-sized supermarkets have grown at an average annual rate of 3.3% by volume over the past 10 years.
Smaller sizes weighing less than 500 g are expected to grow by 7 percentage points in 2022 compared to 2021, reaching 20% of sales by volume.

Meaningful discussions to strengthen our relationship with the retailer and support them in shaping the industry of the future
During the event, our teams had the opportunity to discuss our holiday offerings with Cora’s bakers.
They also had the opportunity to meet with Ludovic Châtelais, CEO of Cora France. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges facing the wheat industry in the future and to highlight the strengths of Grands Moulins de Paris and the VIVESCIA Cooperative Group. Our presence in northern France, with our facilities in Paris-Gennevilliers, Briare, Brienne, and Reims, is a key asset for working with Cora France stores, which are primarily located in the northeastern quarter of France.
This location also underscores our affiliation with the VIVESCIA Group, which is firmly rooted in the Grand Est region, where we continue to invest, innovate, and grow, notably through “Transitions”. This concrete program supporting farmers in northeastern France is a pioneer in its field. It represents a unique cooperative approach between upstream and downstream sectors, serving as a major asset in helping our clients achieve their CSR goals and, together, tackle the challenges of climate change and agricultural and food transitions.
